Quick Start
Get your first Odoo service running in minutes.
This guide walks you through the essential steps to go from sign-up to a running Odoo instance.
#Step 1: Create your team
After signing up, you'll be prompted to create a Team. Teams are how hav.sh organizes everything — servers, services, members, and settings all belong to a team.
#Step 2: Add a server
Navigate to Servers in the sidebar and click New Server. You'll need:
- The IP address of your server (a VPS from providers like Hetzner, DigitalOcean, or AWS)
- An SSH private key for secure access
hav.sh will connect to your server and automatically install everything needed (Docker, databases, networking).
#Step 3: Create an Odoo service
Go to Services and click New Service. Fill in:
- Name — A friendly name for this instance (e.g., "My Company ERP")
- Odoo Version — Choose between 18.0 or 19.0
- Server — Select the server you just added
- Service Type — Start with Test for trying things out, or Live for production
Click Create and hav.sh will deploy your Odoo instance automatically.
#Step 4: Access your Odoo instance
Once the service is running, you'll see the status turn green. Click on the service to find:
- Your Odoo URL where you can access the web interface
- The admin credentials to log in for the first time
Your Odoo instance is now live. You can start configuring it, installing modules, and inviting users.
